Cars in Germany

You can't go far without seeing BMWs, VWs, Mercedes, and Porsches of all varieties. 

It's apparent that you have spent a significant amount of time abroad when you are no longer phased by Mercedes buses and trucks.

I have a "nerd" moment when I occasionally see the real life version of Sally from the Disney/Pixar movie Cars cruising down the street -- baby blue 996 series 2002 Porsche 911.

In Hamburg, there are even a couple of Lamborghinis that regularly frequent the pavement.

However, I recently saw what might have been the most spectacular sight on four wheels.

A Porsche taxi.

Parked on the sidewalk, of course.
