Yesterday was my second mid-week holiday of the month. It was Christi Himmelfahrt (Ascension of Christ, 40 days post-Easter) which also doubles as Father's Day in Germany. This meant I witnessed a lot of men out in groups with a wagon of beer. Not even fathers -- just men. A lot of them were dressed up in silly costumes whilst drinking and grilling. It made for great people-watching.
